SOME PEOPLE ARE ABOVE THE LAW

How many times have we heard Joe Biden say, “No one is above the law.” Well, that was a lie. It shouldn’t be a surprise Biden pardoned his derelict son, Hunter, or lying to the American people yet again. In addition to the many Federal laws broken by Hunter, it is pretty much known he was Biden’s primary bag man from China and Ukraine. Biden’s brother will surely be next after the furor dies down from this absurd act.

Presidential pardons have always been suspect and in some cases outrageous. Others that seemed outrageous at the time have proven out over time to have been prudent, such as Gerald Ford’s pardon of Richard Nixon, or even Andrew Johnson’s pardoning of all the Confederate soldiers. But other examples,  such as Bill Clinton’s pardon of his brother, George HW Bush pardoning of six Iran-Contra arms participants , or Barrack Obama’s pardon of the treasonous Chelsea Manning should never have been allowed. Now, after watching Biden pardon a family member, perhaps the pardon privilege should be removed from presidents if it involves family members.

Biden may have opened Pandora’s box with the pardon of his son. If a crack-addled, gun toting, bagman can be pardoned, anybody can and perhaps should be. Hunter is now quite obviously above the law, unlike you and me.

Forevermore, pardons will be even more capricious by future presidents. Perhaps Trump should pardon the wrongfully imprisoned January 6th Capital protestors the day after he takes office.

After living through eight years of witnessing Biden’s criminal spree, the pardoning of Hunter has firmly placed Joe Biden at the top of the worst presidents in history.
