Bob Weir died on January 10, 2026, at age 78, With Weir’s passing, the Grateful Dead story closes another chapter. Jerry Garcia – gone; Ron McKernan – gone; Phil Lesh died in 2024. Of the founding lineup, only drummer Bill Kreutzmann remains.
