Remember the over-sexed bubble-headed blonde from the sitcom “Married…With Children?” Her name was Kelly Bundy, played by Christina Applegate. Turns out, she really is as ill-informed as the way she was portrayed on television.

Consider her recent ranting tweets after Trump won the election. “My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. If you disagree, please unfollow me.” Her daughter is 13 years old! She followed that gem up with another, “Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights…What you did is unreal.”

What is it with overpaid actors, sports figures, and celebrities that they think they know so much more than the rest of America? Notice I did not use the terms “stars.” A star is a luminous body visible in the sky. An actor or  sports figure is on par with a trained seal throwing balls in a basket – there to entertain us.

In general, Hollywood today acts like a cabal of socialists or communists. Perhaps Wisconsin Senator Joe McCarthy was not all that wrong. His reincarnation might shut some of them up. To wit:

Actress Sharon Stone, known primarily for uncrossing her legs in the movie Basic Instinct, was in Italy recently attending the Torino Film Festival. She had the audacity to say this about Trump’s election, “… are we actually choosing our government or is the government choosing itself. Italy has seen fascism…you understand what happens. My country is in the midst of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naive and ignorant and arrogant.”

Stone should be the poster child for naïve, ignorant, and arrogant. Who is she to cast aspersions on Trump or the people that voted for him because her chosen candidate was shellacked at the polls.

Alec Baldwin was at Torino too. He moaned against Americans, saying, “Americans are very uninformed about reality, what’s really going on. With climate change, Ukraine, Israel – you name it. All the biggest topics in the world, Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.” Incredibly, he also claimed movies are the only way to deliver real information to the masses. So who is that is uniformed?

Baldwin is a perpetual crybaby. His misdeeds include shooting a woman dead, calling his eleven-year-old daughter a rude, thoughtless little pig, removal from an airplane for using offensive language at the crew when asked to put his game away for take-off, arrested for going the wrong way and then for smacking a guy in a dispute over a parking spot.  Humorously his actor brother Stephen was a Trump voter!

The irascible Robert Deniro spouts off about Trump nearly every week, as if he has a man-crush on our new president. He told Chris Wallace recently that Trump is “a jerk an idiot. Who wants to meet a clown like that.” That could probably be said about Deniro as well.

Singer, Cardi B, released a video saying, “I hate y’all,” referring to us schmucks who voted for Trump. Remember that when selecting your next music.

John Cusack took to X saying, “The fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting in a convicted felon rapist and Nazi is a sign of deep nihilism.” Who knew an actor could spell the word “nihilism.”

But it’s not all negative coming from celebrities so we don’t need to feel they know more than us. Surprisingly, Amazon owner Jeff Bezos, who also owns the ultra-liberal Washington post congratulated Trump on his political come back and decisive victory. Liberal Tim Cook, CEO of Apple also congratulated Trump, saying “We look forward to engaging with you and your administration to help make sure the United States continues to lead with and be fueled by ingenuity, innovation, and creativity.” Nice words, not to be expected that from these two billionaires.

Even some Democrats boarded the Trump train including former representatives Tulsi Gabbard, Robert Kennedy Jr., Kwame Kilpatrick, plus former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. There were others, but I did not recognize them.

But there are plenty of other celebrities that backed Trump and are delighted he won. Actors, newsman, podcasters, astronauts, show hosts, business moguls, sports participants, and musicians that are all on the Trump train. Surprisingly, there were also a lot of musician rappers.
