JANUARY 6TH AFTERMATH – A DARK STAIN IN AMERICAN HISTORY
The Department of Justice was weaponized against American citizens
Upon being inaugurated, President Trump pardoned 1,500+ people illegally sentenced to prison for the January 6th, 2021, protest. This came within hours of Biden issuing pre-emptive pardons, never done before in American history, to the members of the sham Committee Nancy Pelosi devised to “investigate “the matter.” The committee’s focus was to tie Trump to the protest.
Facts about the Committee are becoming available, marking a dark history in this country when the Department of Justice was weaponized against American citizens.
Thousands of Trump supporters assembled on the south side of the White House on J6 for a Trump speech. The protestors believed there was election fraud in the 2020, cheating Trump out of the presidency. After the speech, Trump encouraged protestors to march to the Capitol, tweeting the words “peacefully and patriotically.”
There was already a smaller contingent of protestors at the Capitol by the time the Trump audience got there. The small contingent were already battling Capitol police by the time the larger crowd arrived.
More than 40,000 hours of security footage was under seal by House Democrats, but released to Tucker Carlson by Kevin McCarthy after the GOP took the House in 2022. Footage shows once the turmoil died down, Capitol police escorted people into the building. Many people indicted or jailed had no way of knowing a skirmish happened earlier. This included Jacob Chansley, the QAnon Shaman, whom the media crucified as the face of the insurrection. He was ultimately sentenced to 41 months in prison for being led around the Capitol and putting his feet on Pelosi’s desk.
The press falsely reported Officer Brian Sicknick died of trauma to the head by a fire extinguisher. In fact, the footage shows Sicknick walking around the Capitol on January 6th and he died the next day of what the coroner cited as natural causes. This information was criminally withheld by the committee.
The final 800 page report issued by the House Select Committee was heavily biased. The committee was handpicked by Pelosi. She rejected House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s two allowed Republican picks of Jim Jordan and Jim Banks. Instead she chose Lying’ Liz Cheney and Crying Adam Kinzinger, two bitter anti-Trumpers.
The report recommended the DOJ press criminal charges against Trump and that Congress bar him from ever holding office again.
Additional biased findings or questions not sought/reported by the committee included:
- Claims Trump had been aware of the violence for 187 minutes before intervening. Cheney called this a “dereliction of duty.” The NY Times, with collaboration from the Washington Post, produced timelines proving only 25 minutes passed before Trump addressed the situation, writing, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement.” Then, 30 minutes later he tweeted a message to the protestors, “…asking for everyone at the Capitol to remain peaceful…Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order.” Cheney hid the transcript.
- Who planted the pipe bombs outside the headquarters of the Republican and Democrat National Committees.
- Why did Democrat leaders, primarily Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, repeatedly reject offers of National Guard troops at the Capitol.
- Why was Security so soft at the Capitol even though permits had been issued for a rally?
- What was the actual number of FBI informants (26 were claimed) in the crowd and what communication they had with organizers.
- Why were the doors opened by Capitol police so protestors could enter?
- Why did three FBI agents enter the Capitol with the crowd?
- Why did FBI informant Ray Epps urge the crowd to storm the Capitol. Later he lied to Congress about his involvement. The committee had a text Epps sent to a nephew bragging he “orchestrated the protests at the Capitol.” Epps testified to Congress he was back in his hotel room when there is video footage showing him at the Capitol for another half hour instead. Committee members knew this but never followed up. Epp’s involvement remains a mystery to this day.
It’s clear our government was involved in the protests that sent over a thousand people to prison. It’s also clear Cheney’s Committee selectively withheld information from Americans, which perhaps was corroborated by Biden’s preemptive pardons.
The J/6 protest is a dark day in American history when our government incited a riot and subsequently imprisoned citizens unlawfully. The “Select Committee” knew this but covered it up. It’s only right Trump released everyone involved with the protest.
