IS THE FBI FINALLY GOING TO GET CLEANED UP?
New FBI Director Kash Patel is not wasting any time making much-needed changes over at the corrupted Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Patel, confirmed last week by the Senate, is the ninth Director of the FBI, and the acting Director of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. He succeeds a corrupt Christopher Wray, who succeeded an equally corrupt James Comey. Both Comey and Wray were complicit in either orchestrating or hiding information concerning the entire Russia hoax perpetuated against President Trump.
Said Patel, “the politicization of our justice system has eroded public trust – but that ends today. Let good cops be cops and rebuild the FBI.”
One of Patel’s first orders is to investigate the FBI’s involvement, under Comey’s direction, of launching a “honeypot” scheme to infiltrate the 2016 Trump campaign. The plot included two females to become romantically involved with men on the campaign in order to get information on Trump. This knowledge was gained from a whistleblower who testified to a House Judiciary Committee last year. The whistleblower is an FBI employee who was involved in an “off the books” scheme and claimed to know Comey directed it.
According to the whistleblower, the investigation was eventually closed because a media outlet obtained a photograph of one of the female plants and intended to publish it. The whistleblower also claimed to be on hand when the employees were ordered not to discuss the plot.
Kashyap Pramod Vinod Patel was born on February 25th, 1980, in Garden City NY. He is an Indian/Hindu American, a lawyer and author. He was educated at the University of Richmond and Pace University. His list of accomplishments in the government and under Trump are impressive to a conservative. To the liberal media…not so much.
Patel published a book in 2023 called “Government Gangsters” naming 60 members of the Deep State. The list included Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Merick Garland, Bill Barr, Kamala Harris, Robert Mueller, and James Comey. Those names should not come as startling to anyone, as it is kind of obvious. I didn’t read the book but have to wonder how Barrack Obama did not make the list. Perhaps mainstream media should have been called out as well.
Trump nominated Patel to succeed Wray, citing his role in uncovering the Russia Hoax, perpetrated by members of the Deep State. Laughably, two days before Patel’s confirmation hearing, 23 former Republican bureaucrats submitted a memo whining that Patel’s confirmation would be a “grievous mistake that would endanger the FBI’s integrity and compromise its critical mission. This is a vision of the FBI as an authoritarian weapon for pursuing Trump’s grievances.”
Integrity? There hasn’t been integrity in that office since at least the 1980’s. What the hell do those “Republicans” think the FBI has been doing the last 24 years under Wray, McCabe, Comey, and Mueller? If that circus wasn’t an authoritarian weapon for pursuing grievances, I’ll eat my hat! This is the organization that was presided over for 48 years by the degenerate J. Edgar Hoover for crying out loud!
Then, to make the whole episode more bizarre, smarmy IL Senator Dick Durbin took time off from complaining about DOGE cost savings to shoot his mouth off about Patel in a letter to the inspector general of the Dept. of Justice. He wailed:
“It is unacceptable for a nominee with no current role in government, much less at the FBI, to personally direct unjustified and potentially illegal adverse employment actions against senior career FBI leadership and other dedicated, nonpartisan law enforcement officers.”
Now would be a good time to point out Durbin has all the credibility of gas station sushi and a career politicians for the last 41 years. Like nearly all Illinois politicians, he cannot be trusted.
It appears there were some issues with Patel’s testimony during his confirmation hearing. He was not always truthful and conveniently forgot a few details. He would eventually be confirmed along party lines. Naturally, “GOP Senators,” both Republicans in Name Only (RINO), Murkowski and Collins voted against him.
Patel seems to be very qualified for the job. We can only hope he will clean up the corruption and rot that has seeped into the bureau headquarters. However, there is good reason to watch to see how unbiased Patel can administer justice under Trump. It’s vital he proves Durbin and the Democrats wrong.
For now, I’m content to take Patel at his word.
