The headline above was taken from NBC News, published by Yahoo. I put the quotation marks around the word wrestle, as I found it to be a rather weak word for the vitriol that has been spewed by the Left since President Trump’s landslide victory. Erupt might have been a more apt term in describing the Trump Deranged in this country.

Depending on the source, an outsider visiting this country might have been led to think the Russians had taken over the United States and our 248 year republic was now officially over. Talking heads and celebrities on television choked back tears just from mentioning the matter.

The late night jesters at all three major networks seemed to be in depression as their usual lame jokes were even lamer if that’s possible. Seth Meyers stated Trump was just a bad person. So there! Stephen Colbert shot his mouth off that Trump voters don’t care about democracy anymore and compared Trump to a monstrous child. Jimmy Kimmel bawled through his monologue, pretending he and fellow Harris voters were all on higher moral ground than the garbage that voted for Trump. Jimmy Fallon’s monologue seemed rather milquetoast as compared to the others, as if he was so disgusted he was just mailing it in.

This is what passes for late-night comedy in America today from the three major networks. Propaganda cloaked in humor is no less dangerous.

News agencies were apoplectic over Harris’s thrashing. Juan Williams at FOX pulled his race card out of his pocket, slapped it down on the counter and then stated America didn’t vote for Harris simply because we don’t want a Black woman for president. Oh yeah, Juan, put Condoleezza Rice on the GOP ticket and see what happens.

Washington Post “journalist” and PBS commentator, Jonathan Capehart speculated on X that the election results showed American voters had “gotten over democracy”. I guess he thinks because he has the word “journalist” in front of his name, or works for Jeff Bezos’s personal newsletter, it makes him an expert on the demise of America. This, despite that 73 million people thought differently. On a PBS program he complained the election could be indicative of “who we are as a country…from what I’m seeing right now, I’m not sure that I like it.” There’s a whole bunch of us that hope he’s right, as we weren’t too enamored with Biden in the White House either.

Joe Scarborough, on his “Morning Joe” program, pulled out the over-used liberal adage that Harris could only have lost due to racism and misogyny. That’s right, she lost only because she is a woman and Black he vented. In a liberal head, could it be anything else? In the studio with him that morning was the race hustler Al Sharpton, just to make Joe’s words official.    

The View’s, Sunny Hostin blamed the 52% of uneducated White women who voted for Trump. It’s cultural resentment she cried and then warned Trump was going to set up internment camps. She makes $1.8 million a year to spew that type garbage. Worse, Whoopi makes $8 million per year.

For the record, I watched the View for the first time the day after the election just to see just how misinformed and self-righteous those women are. I was not disappointed.

Jake Tapper at CNN could not believe Harris received less votes than Joe Biden did in 2020 – in every state. Tapper’s co-worker, Van Jones was near bawling that Trump won. “I’m thinking about the people who are not a part of anybody’s elite, who are hurting tonight,” he lamented.  

Jim Acosta, also at CNN, lectured Latino Trump voters because they were voting against their own interests, particularly if they were to have family members deported. I was unable to find what Acosta’s thoughts were that most Latino’s are Catholic and anti-abortion.

“We’re gambling with the future by choosing Trump,” shrieked Stephanie Ruhle of MSNBC. “Americans,” meaning those that voted for Trump, “have accepted misinformation.” Sounds suspiciously like the thinks Trump voters are stupid too.  Consider that thought whilst I also tell you she thought that under Biden there was some sort of great economic recovery in our country too.

Ruhle’s colleague at MSNBC, former Democratic senator Claire McCaskill bawled on air after Harris’s concession speech on Wednesday. Joy Reid of MSNBC weighed in too but criticizing her is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Journalists, regardless of medium, are supposed to report on the news, not opine. It is those opinionated journalists on major networks or news agencies that are tearing this country apart.
