POKING THE BEAR
Submitted to the Washington Post
President Biden’s decision (or that of his handlers) to authorize Ukraine’s military to use long-range missiles on Russia is pure politics at best and evil at worst.
Supposedly this comes on the heels of Britain and France also authorizing Ukraine to launch missile strikes. That’s right boys, let’s all poke the Bear that is sitting on nuclear weapons.
The decision will most assuredly mean three things:
1. Putin will counter attack with a vengeance, thus ensuring the death of even more Ukrainians.
2. With the escalation of the war, it is inevitable there will be US troops on the ground as well as European and NATO countries. Flight assignments for the missile systems can only be entered by NATO countries, not Ukrainians.
3. The United States will need to pour billions more into a country with no accountability as to where the money is going. The Pentagon already has trouble with money accountability.
Biden and his handlers have been given the boot by the American people with the election of President Trump. Biden would have done well to just sit out the last few months of his administration and let President Trump, who has a much better grasp of the situation, handle it.
Biden has done this for no other reason than to give Trump another headache to deal with upon taking the Oval Office. If Trump said or thought he had a chance of ending that war, something Biden and his cronies have not been able to remotely do, Biden should have done the world a favor to avoid chances of another World War or nuclear attacks.
The sooner the nightmare that was Biden goes away, the better.
