Over the past six weeks state-controlled media (SCM) has giddily been busy coronating Border Czar Kamala Harris as our next president. This of course is regardless of the fact she is unable and won’t sit for an interview with anybody. So, as they did with Obama, they are promoting her rather than evaluating her. Russia’s Pravda newspaper does this too.

The media-gushing started after Nancy Pelosi and Barrack Obama kicked a dementia-addled Joe Biden to the curb. Ignoring her past extreme leftists policies – such as a ban on fracking and ending private health insurance – SCM gobbled up every soundbite scrap she meagerly gave them, broadcasting it to the world. This was done with no details or costs of any of her promises.

Last Thursday Harris gave an acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, long on blasting Trump and short of any substantive policy. But her speech was a shot of ecstasy right to the big blue SCM vein. She had spoken!

Every socialistic proclamation Harris has made over the past years, of which she has just recently backtracked, are completely ignored by the SCM, despite the damage this woman could cause the country. SCM would have us believe Harris and her running mate – Tampon Tim Walz, have made titanic shifts back to center from their far-left history. Don’t believe it.

The following day, Friday, a bomb was dropped to dampen SCM giddiness. Unbelievably to Dems and SCM, third party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his campaign and then endorsed Trump.

By God, he can’t do that, they squealed. He’s one of us! How dare he speak ill of them and then join the enemy! This was blasphemy! Doesn’t Jr. know he’s a Kennedy, and expected to toe their Democrat line?  Never mind that Jr. was a registered Democrat running as a third party because the Dems refused to recognize him, fund his campaign or provide him with secret service protection.

He probably felt that the Democrat party has veered sharply left of where his father and uncle John stood so tall. So far in fact, it is thought by some historians if JFK or RFK were alive today, they’d be Republicans. (Not so Ted Kennedy – he’d still be an egotistic liberal Senator from Massachusetts and a murderer who got off Scott-free due to Kennedy influence.)

Kennedy family members were not happy with Jr.’s announcement. In a prepared statement from a Kennedy underling, five of Jr.’s siblings supposedly said, “Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.” I’d like to be a fly on the wall at their upcoming Thanksgiving dinner.

In his suspension speech, Jr. called out SCM by saying, “Your institutions have made themselves government mouthpieces and stenographers for the organs of power.”

Jr. then accused the Democrat party of:

* Running legal warfare against Trump and himself.

* Running a sham primary election.

* Censoring his campaign.

* Manufacturing popularity for Harris based on nothing.

* Abandoning democracy.

* Being a party of war, censorship, corruption and in cahoots with the pharmaceutical industry.

Many on the left, particularly SCM, believe this might have an impact on the 2024 presidential race, and not in favor of their preferred gal. They scrambled to the polling prognosticators to see if they would dispense some good news that would make them feel better. Some pollsters forecasted disaster for Harris while others predicted this was just a minor blip on the way to the coronation. Most agreed it would not have much effect nationally but could be a factor in the swing states, giving Trump a marginal boost. Even the size of the boost was beholden to the opinion of the prognosticator.

The fact was, Jr.’s numbers had been waning in past months, going from a high of 11% to about 4.5% before he pulled the plug. They would have continued to slide as the election got closer. My belief is that Kennedy-backing men will now vote for Trump and women for Harris, giving neither candidate much of a boost.

A bigger event affecting voting will be when it dawn’s on Harris voters – those that are actually paying attention – that she is full of empty platitudes and deliberately short on details. This should happen about an hour into the Harris-Trump debate on September 10^th.
