By now you’ve heard what a great job Kamala Harris did in last Tuesday’s debate. If you watched, you might even think she won the contest – should you be a low information voter, a liberal, main stream media hack, RINO or one of those poor souls suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. We’ll call this group LIV for short.

Harris did rattle Donald Trump, I’ll give you that. He looked angry and on the defensive. This is an unattractive character flaw of Trump’s and one would think given his age and debate experience, he could keep that flaw in check. Should one go by facial expressions and temperament, as LIV does, then one would believe Harris won the debate. But they’d be wrong. Pollsters are reporting the debate did not move one vote either way.

A closer analysis sheds light on the debate, exposing truth, facts, propaganda and bias. I realize LIV’s are not to be bothered by facts, but I’ll mention them anyway.

After the debate, one news correspondent from Fox incorrectly said Trump did nothing in the debate to win over undecided voters; he only preached to his base. Focus Groups are a common way to see how people perceive how candidates are doing.  On this night, a focus group showed Independent voters were more supportive of Trump than Harris. Independents particularly took notice when Trump stated the Biden/Harris administration was to blame for “destroying the fabric of our country” by allowing an invasion of illegal immigrants. Regardless of Trump’s facial expression, he was right, and Independents agreed.

When ABC comrades David Muir and Linsey Davis asked Harris about Trumps statement, she made no effort to defend the administration’s stance on illegal immigrants, instead launching into empty platitudes of what she was going to do. The comrades made no attempt to hold her feet to the fire to answer their question.

Trump scored again when he said he would cut taxes substantially to create a great economy.  In the focus group, that statement caused Trump’s favorability rate to go up among Republicans, Independents, and Democrats. Do Harris backers seriously think she will cut taxes? My betting window is open.

Regardless, there will be people thinking Harris won the debate because they get their information from main stream media, if they get any information at all. To roughly paraphrase Mark Twain’s quote, “If you don’t watch the news you are uninformed; if you do watch the news, you are misinformed.

ABC put their political bias on full display. Muir and Davis humiliated themselves, as well, clearly displaying their own personal biases rather than professional journalism. They shamefully kept their thumbs on the Harris side of the scale throughout the debate, inaccurately fact checking Trump in real time, while allowing Harris to distort facts. Trump wasn’t just debating Harris, he was fending off biased moderators as well.  

Who the hell are they to fact check one candidate, a former president, and let the other candidate slide? If they were so fact-check-happy, why didn’t they point out Harris was wrong for stating Trump would pass a nationwide abortion ban. Or her incorrect claim that Trump was involved in Project 2025. She even ridiculously claimed Trump had overseen the worst unemployment since the Great Depression. There were plenty more examples.

The moderators ignored Harris’s denial of calling for gun confiscation, despite multiple videos of her stating unequivocally she would. They didn’t challenge her on the tired old Democrat canard that Trump’s tax cuts would only go to rich people. Or when she laughingly said her and Biden created 800,000 jobs, ignoring the fact most were rebound jobs.

All night Harris deflected real answers, which, combined with her refusal for interviews and press conferences, continues to leave voters in the dark as to what she can and will do. Based on her strategy to date, LIV’s only know that she isn’t Trump, and that is good enough for them.

Ominously, when the moderators asked her if people were better off under Biden than they had been under Trump she completely sidestepped the question, describing instead her plan to give people money to buy a home, start a business, or raise children. When she launched into this diatribe, any worthy journalist not a Democratic shill, should have asked who would be able to pay for her giveaway programs. They didn’t bother.

What the comrades at ABC did last Tuesday night was election interference. A serious case could be made for charging them, punishable by up to five years in prison.

I will never watch ABC again.
