TOUCHING THE THIRD RAIL

Well, the presidential debate is behind us. Mercifully, there won’t be another one for Biden. NO MAS!

In last Thursday’s debate, Biden looked and acted exactly as I’ve said all along, old and confused. At this stage of his life, he couldn’t pour water out of boot if the directions were written on the heel. First Lady Jill Biden should be ashamed of herself for letting the Dems prop him up when he should be in a nursing home.

The whole world watched to see the leader of the free world mutter, bumble, and freeze when it was his turn to speak. The media could no longer hide Biden’s infirmities.  What might the world have thought of our country after that debacle.

What about those people who have actually endorsed him as their candidate. Now what?

The classic line of the night was when Trump said of Biden, ““I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either.” Trump nails it again.

Biden’s performance leads me to wonder if they decide not to nominate him at their Chicago convention.  I’m betting CA governor Gavin Newsome takes his place. And Illinois governor JB Pritzker will be leaving his fingerprints on as much as possible.

Biden’s made Kamala Harris’ post-debate analysis look good, something incredibly hard to do. And there can’t be anybody but the First Dude that feels she is a bonified source to take Biden’s place. Biden has become a conundrum for the Dems because jumping over Harris will upset the Black population, even though she isn’t African-American. Her mother was from India and her father was from Jamaica. But sadly, in our woke society, we pretend.

Will Biden’s be allowed to finish his presidency. I don’t think he should, but there is the irritable fact nobody asked me.

The day before the debate, former Illinois Congressman, Adam Kinzinger, endorsed Biden. He has become just another swamp creature and is an embarrassment to Illinois, a state steeped in embarrassing politicians. Hey Adam, you sticking to that endorsement now?

We just survived yet another Gay Pride month. For some reason, we all have to know about gay month. Why? Most people really have no problem with someone being gay. It’s great if a person finds love in this world and who it is should be nobody’s business.

However, most “straight” folks are tiring of the gay month, gay week, gay flags, gay protests, gay anything propaganda being shoved down our throats. Straight folks do not demand these type events and rarely flaunt our “straightness.” Gay folks shouldn’t either. It’s useless and divides people in an ever-increasing fractured society. Corporate America, do you hear me?

Didja see the most useless politician of them all was defeated in his primary. No, I’m not talking about Adam Kinzinger now, but someone equally as loathsome by the name of Jamal Bowman.

Bowman was the moron who pulled the fire alarm at the House of Representatives, then denied it, in order to try and delay a vote that he thought was racist. A racist vote? He lost badly in the primary to George Latimer in what became the most expensive House primary in US history.

I suspect that means George Soros was pumping money at Bowman to shoot off his mouth against Israel, while Jewish groups chipped in boatloads of money to Latimer. Bowman is now the first Squad member to lose…certainly a nice start.

Bowman, who is black, sees racism in everything, especially with us MAGA Republicans. If one doesn’t agree with him, it’s due to racism. He also identifies as a Democrat Socialists of America member and part of the Squad. He appeared at a rally the weekend before the vote, in which he hurled vulgar language at a crowd who masochistically scooped it up. Meanwhile, Sandy Cortez hopped around the stage as Bowman’s personal cheerleader.

Bowman was charged with a misdemeanor for the fire alarm stunt and fined $1,000. The House also censured him for the incident. Good riddance to Bowman and his ilk. One down, eight to go.

Common sense recently prevailed as the Supreme Court last Friday made it harder to charge J6 Capitol protest defendants with obstruction, a charge that has also been leveled at Trump. The Court said that the charge of obstructing an official proceeding must include proof the defendant tried to tamper with or destroy documents.

Over 350 people were charged wrongly with obstruction at the J6 outing. Said House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, “The Supreme Court’s decision is an affirmation of the rule of law and a reminder that Congress — not out-of- control prosecutors — writes the law.”

They should let them all out of jail.

Finally, RIP Willy Mays.
