COULD TULSI GABBARD BE OUR NEXT VICE PRESIDENT

Anticipation is mounting on who Trump will pick as our next vice president. Names like Vivek Ramaswamy, Tim Scott, Kristie Noem, Doug Burgum, and Elise Stefanik are all being considered.

A relatively new name has surfaced, having merit. The New York Post mentioned former Hawaii representative Tulsi Gabbard has had her hat thrown in the ring. If you’re unfamiliar with her, she appears on Fox News often and is the brunette with a streak of white running along the left side of her head. I have wondered if that streak is real or manufactured.

Born in American Samoa, the name Tulsi is Hindu, given to her by her American mother. Tulsi means holy basil in Sanskrit. She was educated in various elements of the Hindu religion and became the first Hindu member of Congress. Nancy Pelosi once called her an “emerging star.” Pelosi’s head will explode if Tulsi were to become vice president under Trump.

The 44-year-old Gabbard served in Congress for eight years representing Hawaii as a Democrat and ran a presidential bid in the 2020 election. Then, in 2022 she abruptly left the Democrat party, becoming an Independent, claiming the Democrat party was under the control of elitist cabal of warmongers and cowardly wokeness. Since that time, she seems to be becoming increasingly conservative.

A martial arts instructor, Tulsi was formerly a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, being elected at 21-years-old. She was an officer in the Hawaii National Guard and a veteran of the Iraq War. From 2004- 2005 she severed in a field medical unit. In 2008-2009 she was stationed in Kuwait as an Army Military Police platoon leader. She now holds the position of lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve.

Soon after arriving in the Swamp, she became the vice chair of the Democrat National Committee from 2013 to 2016. Evidently completely losing her mind, she endorsed Bernie Sanders for president. She followed up that bad decision four years later when she endorsed Joe Biden.

She was, however, critical of Barack Obama for refusing to admit the enemy of United States is radical Islam and Islamic extremism. Seems to this old bard she could have found a multitude of other things to be critical of Obama. Personally, I’m not a fan of forcefully putting words in another person’s mouth.

She’s been involved with numerous political organizations in Hawaii, the Swamp, and internationally, holding different positions in various campaigns. Sometimes she was on both sides of an issue, switching as she matured. I was somewhat surprised with just how much political involvement she has had in her career. With the exception of environmental issues, it would seem she has been more conservative than liberal.

Tulsi received numerous awards from various organizations hardly anyone has ever heard of, probably only important to her. Awards of note though are the Combat Medical Badge and the Meritorious Service Medal from her military service.

I love this next Tulsi item. She presently has a lawsuit making its way through court against Hillary Clinton. Hillary, the Joe McCarthy of our era, sees Russia and Trump behind anything not aligned to suit her. Evidently, in 2019 Hillary accused Tulsi of being groomed by Russia to run against Trump in the 2020 election as a Democrat, ensuring a Trump victory. This must have been Royal Reason #644 why the old battleaxe lost to Trump.

After looking through her history, she is certainly vice presidential material, especially since the useless Kamala Harris has lowered the bar so much. I have come to the opinion that Trump is going to pick a woman as his running mate. Kristi Noem from South Dakota, in my opinion, was the front runner, until she became cross-threaded with Native Americans, and for having the audacity of euthanizing a dog. She has probably been dropped from consideration, and that’s a shame due to her positive approach toward oil development.

For whatever reason, after years of mostly liberal thinking, around 2022 Tulsi came around to backing conservative issues. Did she do that because she really believes in conservative thought, or did she think it the politically correct thing to do. Of that, I am not sure yet. It needs more observation. If it were my decision today, I would not select her, but that might change over the next few months.

Who do I want Trump to pick today – Vivek Ramaswamy, after he changes his name to John Smith.

Who do I think Trump will pick – a woman.
